Janet Zabrowski, MA Counselor

A traumatic event can make you feel like your world has been turned upside-down while substance use or dependence can keep you from living your full potential. Healing from trauma, grief, unhealthy relationships or substance use can happen in an environment without shame or judgment. I tailor the treatment plan for each client's needs utilizing evidenced-based practices and incorporating 12-step recovery, stage of change model and Motivational Interviewing techniques. With these strategies, adolescents and adults have been able to develop healthier coping skills and the ability to thrive.

I believe in creating a safe environment that promotes change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and have helped clients overcome numerous adversities including substance use, grief, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties to name a few.

If something is preventing you from showing up in your life, together we can find strategies to help you move forward. Being here, you have already made the first step toward healing. I can guide you through the process of creating a fulfilling life and reestablishing hope.
